Welcome to Folk Friday! A bi-monthly production that showcases area and regional folk and acoustic acts! We are thrilled to welcome The Field Birds, a Duluth based group of talented folk and bluegrass musicians. The Field Birds are a string trio who perform a blend of traditionally-informed original music and reimagined folk music. The band consists of Kyle Orla, Clancy Ward (Sugar on the Roof), and Jennifer Krussow (Nat Harvie Trio).

Tapers notes: I arrived basically as they were starting, so the first 20 seconds or so of the recording is me setting up. Unfortunately I didn't set up at the best position, so vocals are a little drowned out. The second set sounds better as far as vocals go, but there is a buzz throughout for some reason. I tried to minimize it as much as I could, and while it sounds better than it originally did, it's still present.
